(from the ferry landing at Vineyard Haven)

Turn left as you leave the ferry. Everybody else will be doing the same,
so follow traffic.

Proceed one block, to the first stop sign. Turn right.

Continue up a slight hill, bearing slightly to the left after one block,
and stay on the main road out of town which is South Main Street, then
becomes State Road. After 2.5 miles or so there will be a fork.
Bear right.

After another 2.5 miles, watch for a right turn toward
Menemsha. A sign
marks it, but the sign is right at the intersection, so be careful.

You will now be on North Road. Continue on North Road for about 5.6 miles,
and Menemsha Inn & Cottages will be on your right. Watch for our sign,
it's right after the left turn for Menemsha Cross Road.
