A Really Lovely Place with Great People Our stay at the Beach Plum Inn was lovely. We visited in early October, during the off-season, when the island slows down quite a bit. Many local spots close and public transportation runs less frequently. This makes it so so peaceful, but also things are a little less accessible. No matter! Sarah, one of the owners, treated us like family. This we appreciated to no end. The property has a thoughtfully untouched feel that reflects the conservation-minded care of its hosts. I also have to mention the scone with raspberry jam. It was world-class, probably the best I’ve ever had. This is no exaggeration. The cottages are perhaps a bit vintage for some, but full of charm and character. I felt the experience they provide honors the unique place that is Memensha. 
My Happy Place ! Amazing location, staff and hospitality! The Inn provides peace and comfort. It feels like home away from home . The staff is kind and very accommodating.
